The name Chennai Food Guide brings back a lot of nostalgic memories for me. Rewinding back to reminisce some good moments:
* This was probably the first online foodie forum that I became a part of in Facebook a couple of years ago
* My first ever cooking workshop outside of home was through them - It was called the Great Biryani Cookout
* Needless to say that the Greek cooking workshop organized by them was a huge hit too
* My event company Magic Events associated with CFG for their 8th Anniversary celebrations to do the decor
* I also got an opportunity to meet Late Chef Jacob at the anniversary celebrations and other eminent chefs from the field
* Witnessed my first ever live stand up comedy and it was hilarious
* Made some real good friends too
This organization has been doing pretty well over the course of the years and now gearing up for their big day. 10 years definitely calls for a bigger celebration. There are two sections to this big event. Read on for details.

CFG10 Chennai Food Guide's 10th Anniversary Celebration

Chennai Food Guide (CFG) celebrates 10 years of being in social media space and being the bridge to the ardent foodies and F&B businesses. CFG members, foodies, bloggers, chefs, hoteliers, restaurateurs, media and many business leaders from the F&B leaders will convene together in a celebration of good food and matters around F&B. There will be felicitations for some of the best Chefs from Chennai, Awards for individuals/ organisations who have made a difference to the society through food. More to this there are a few path breaking concepts from the world of Food and Beverage that will be showcased in the event. An amazing stand up comedian Aswin Rao from Evam will be hosting the entire evening's program with a custom built performance on Food. There is also an engaging Food Quiz called Food Quest 2015 for the audience to participate and win spot prizes. There is a phenomenal lucky draw where gift articles and vouchers valued nearly to Rs 1,00,000/- to be won by the attendees of this event.
